About Us

Prose Intelligence is a boutique agency specialising in supporting responsible open source intelligence (OSINT) professionals with tools, training, bespoke research and consultancy.

Prose was founded in 2023 by OSINT analyst and programmer Jordan Wildon. The team at Prose has extensive experience in managing, delivering and leading open source intelligence research projects across Government, media, academia and the private sector.

Meet the Team

  • CEO/Founder

    Jordan Wildon is the founder of Prose and a digital investigator with expertise in in open-source intelligence analysis, specifically relating to tracking and reporting on mis-/disinformation, extremism and conspiracy theories. 

    Jordan has developed a reputation within the OSINT community for developing digital research tools and techniques, has provided training on verification, fact-checking and open-source intelligence techniques as well as contributing to roundtables for the Overseas Development Institute and the British Council, and at conferences such as Web Summit.

    Previously, he was as a Senior Digital Methods Manager for the Institute for Strategic Dialogue where he oversaw and developed online research methodologies with a focus on detecting and understanding influence operations, disinformation, and extremism in the US and abroad.

    In a former life, Jordan was an investigative journalist reporting on issues related to digital technology, cybersecurity and the ways people use, and abuse, the internet. His work has been featured in major media outlets worldwide, including CNN, BBC and the New York Times.

  • Managing Director

    Al oversees the management and operations at Prose, as well as delivering consulting, training and bespoke research for our clients.

    Before joining Prose, Al was the Global Head of Research at Logically. He has extensive experience in leading counter-misinformation initiatives across the Government and private sector, including in fact-checking, investigations and policy research.

    Prior to working in open source intelligence, Al was an academic philosopher, researching and teaching at the universities of Leeds, Hull, and Sheffield. Al’s philosophical interests include the ethics of communication, storytelling and artificial intelligence, as well related issues in moral psychology.

    Al is also a recovering musician, a keen dungeon master, and a passionate defender of the oxford comma.
